Lampwork Bead Necklace This glass lampwork bead is made by rolling the hot glass in fine silver, applying various colors (in this case green and purple) of transparent glass over the silver and then twisting it all together. The result makes each bead look like it's own little galaxy inside. It's hard to capture the beauty in a photo. The glass bead is about 13mm from hole to hole and about 19mm in diameter. The bead hangs in the center of an 18"sterling sliver chain with sterling silver diamond cut beads on either side. One-of-a-kind, only one available. $24.00 |
